The Good Daughter: Jessica Biel-Led Limited Series Revealed by Peacock

Peacock has announced that Jessica Biel will lead an upcoming limited crime thriller series titled The Good Daughter.

All episodes of The Good Daughter are being written by Karin Slaughter, who wrote the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name that the limited series is being based on. It is being produced by Made Up Stories in partnership with global film and TV studio Fifth Season, who will also be distributing it internationally.

In addition to starring, Biel is also executive producing the show alongside Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, and Casey Haver for Made Up Stories, Michelle Purple for Iron Ocean, and Karin Slaughter.

What will The Good Daughter be about?

“The Good Daughter is a suspenseful crime drama where sisters Charlotte (Jessica Biel) and Samantha Quinn have spent the last twenty-eight years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence,” reads the show‘s synopsis. “When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte is the first witness on the scene. Now a lawyer like her father, she’s forced to confront her own demons as the case twists through one shocking revelation after another. In the end, both she and Samantha find themselves wondering if the price of being the good daughter was worth it after all.”
