Will There Be a CSI: Vegas Season 4 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

CSI: Vegas is a crime drama that follows a new team of forensic investigators in Las Vegas. They use the latest technology to solve crimes, just like the original CSI series. We get to see familiar faces from the earlier show along with a new cast. The series premiered in 2021 as the fifth installment of the CSI franchise and currently has a third ongoing season. However, will there be a fourth season of the show?

Here’s all we know about CSI: Vegas Season 4 release date information and whether or not it’s coming out.

Is there a CSI: Vegas Season 4 release date?

CSI: Vegas Season 4 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.

Currently, CSI: Vegas has an ongoing season three. When comparing to past trends on when a release date came out for the show, season four might receive an announcement during the airing of the third season. Earlier, season three faced a delay and was moved ahead to early 2024 due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Hence, if CSI: Vegas is going to be renewed for a fourth season, we will most likely receive an announcement either during or at the end of the ongoing season. Whether or not the show will be renewed for another season also depends on how well the current season is doing. If renewed, viewers can potentially expect to see a CSI: Vegas Season 4 release date in early 2025.

This date is an estimation based on the information we have at the time of this writing.

The current season of the show features the return of some familiar faces alongside a new team. Paula Newsome once again leads the forensics team as Maxine Roby. Matt Lauria and Mandeep Dhillon return as investigators Josh Folsom and Allie Rajan.

Where is CSI: Vegas Season 4 coming out?

CSI: Vegas Season 4 could be released on CBS and be available for streaming on Paramount Plus.

This is because season 3 currently has a Sunday night slot on CBS and is also available on Paramount Plus for viewing after the show airs.

The official synopsis for the series reads:

“Facing an existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab, a brilliant team of forensic investigators must welcome back old friends and deploy new techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City.”
