Call of The Night Season 2 Production Confirmed

On Monday, March 11, 2024, the Fuji TV Anime Lineup Press Conference 2024 announced that Call of the Night season 2 is in production. The series also dropped information about the staff and voice cast.

Call of the Night is written and illustrated by Kotoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The manga’s plot revolves around Kou Yamori, who gets an invitation from Nazuna Nanakusa to spend the night at her place. However, he later finds out that she is a vampire. Afterward, Kou ends up getting involved in a series of adventures.

Call of The Night season 2: Everything to know so far

As mentioned before, the production of Call of the Night season 2 was recently confirmed at the Fuji TV Anime Lineup Press Conference 2024. A promotional teaser and a visual was also released alongside the announcement.

The upcoming season of the anime series will premiere on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block and affiliate networks. The series hasn’t revealed any information about the streaming platforms. However, viewers can expect to stream the second season on HIDIVE as the first season did.

The key visual is done in a striking background color that is typical of the show’s theme. It features Nazuna Nanakusa and her former friend and vampire, Anko Uguisu.

Additional information about the staff was revealed alongside the key visual and the promotional teaser. Tomoyuki Itamura is returning to supervise the second season at Liden Films. The director has previously worked on successful projects like The Case Study of Vanitas, the Monogatari series, and I Want To Eat Your Pancreas.
