Park Sung-Hoon is the name that is popping up every now and then after his outstanding performance in The Glory made a mark. Now, the rising South Korean actor is receiving back-to-back offers to star in popular K-dramas.

Sung-Hoon has always been very dedicated to his characters in every K-drama. Recently, the actor is confirmed to feature in the upcoming highly-anticipated drama Queen of Tears. The series has a stellar star cast, including Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won in the lead. While we are discussing Sung-Hoon’s acting skills, here are a few dramas where he proved his worth as an actor. Queen of Tears

Fans are waiting with bated breath for Queen of Tears release. This is the first time that Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won are paired up together. While Soo-Hyun portrays Baek Hyun-Woo, the legal director of the Queens Group, Ji-Won plays the chaebol heiress, Hong Hae-In, who is the CEO of the same group. Headlining by EXO’s Suho and Ha Yeon-Soo, Rich Man, Poor Woman is a cute rom-com drama. Suho portrays Lee Yoo Chan, CEO of Next In. Yeon-Soo plays Kim Bo-Ra who applies for a position in his office. In the series, Park Sung-Hoon plays Cha Do-Jin, who works in Next In with Yoo-Chan and Bo-Ra. The chemistry equation between all these characters is shown beautifully.

My Only One

My Only One is an emotional drama featuring a stellar star cast. The series stars Lee Jang-Woo, Choi Soo-Jong, Yoon Jin-Yi, and others. However, Park Sung-Hoo plays Jang Go-Rae. He is the supporting cast in the series. He portrays Jang Da-Ya’s (Yoon Jin Yi) older brother.

Into The Ring

Into The Ring is Sung-Hoo’s first lead role. He plays Seo Gong-Myung. The storyline revolves around Goo Se-Ra (Nana), an over-passionate worker who often gets fired from her job. But her dedication to work makes her run for the district representative seat. She meets Gong-Myung, a civil servant who picks on other people’s mistakes. For this series, Sung-Hoo received not only the Excellence Award for Actor in a Miniseries but also the Best Couple Award for portraying such chemistry with Nana at the 2020 KBS Drama Awards.

Justice

Justice stars Choi Jin Hyuk, Son Hyun Joo, and Nana, in addition to Park Sung-Hoo. It is a legal drama where Choi Jin-Hyuk plays Lee Tae-Kyung, a lawyer who takes up cases given by a construction company owner. Sung-Hoo portrays Tak Soo-Ho, a chairman of a huge group. However, in a certain turn of events, Tae-Kyung and Soo-Ho get into a sour relationship. What happens next and how the story unfolds is all about the drama.

Park Sung-Hoo is acing his acting niche with every K-drama he is featuring in. Now, his fans are waiting to see him in Queen of Tears. The series is set to release on March 9, 2024. The episodes will air every Saturday and Sunday on tvN and Netflix.
