Queen of Divorce episode 9 trailer: Lee Ji-Ah learns her mother was a witness in Oh Min-Suk’s case

The Queen of Divorce episode 9 trailer begins with Lee Ji-Ah’s Sa-Ra receiving red roses, leaving Gi-Jun (Kang Ki-Young) confused. It appears Yul-Sung is trying to win over Sa-Ra to reach out to Kim Young A.

When Yul-Sung’s mother asks why he is behind Sa-Ra and Young A, he says he is not only going after the party representative. He is pursuing his ex-wife because she and Gi-Jun have re-opened their investigation on Na Yu-Mi’s case. The next scene shows Sa-Ra in tears, frustratingly mentioning that her mother must have known something about Yu-Mi’s case. She says, “She [her mother] was the witness for Na Yu-Mi’s case.”

Gi-Jun and Sa-Ra continue their investigation and find out a part-timer. She is the girl who previously gave Sa-Ra’s mother the evidence proving that Yu-Mi was killed. Her mother went with the proof to Gi-Jun, but Yul-Sung sent a man to lure her out before she could hand it over. At that time, Sa-Ra was in prison and was told that her mother died by suicide.

In the trailer for episode 9, the part-timer is reluctant to open up about the incident. The ending teases danger luring over the part-timer before she meets with Gi-Jun and Sa-Ra.

Queen of Divorce episode 9 will air on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 8.50 p.m. KST on JTBC.
