A Murder at the End of the World Episode 6 Ending Explained & Spoilers: What Happened at the End?

Here’s A Murder at the End of the World Episode 6’s ending explained featuring spoilers about what happened in the episode. Who saved Darby and why did Bill leave her? The following explanation reveals it all.

What happened at the end of A Murder at the End of the World Episode 6?

A Murder at the End of the World episode 6 revealed that Bill left a clue for Darby, which was followed by Andy catching up to the plans of Lee, David, and Oliver.

The episode started with Lee and David saving Darby, and the revelation that a hacker covered the pool’s lid in episode 5. While the mystery hacker continues to be at large, we find out about Lee and Andy’s true motives.

According to Lee, her alternate passport and wig were a means to get Zoomer out of Andy’s retreat due to his rage and obsession. The episode further revealed that Bill called David to set up a meeting between them and Rohan about Lee’s escape. But the mystery hacker/killer got to them first.

Towards the end of the episode, Darby sensed that Bill left a clue for her in the copy of The Silver Doe book in his room. Reading the page out loud that revealed Darby’s serial killer, Oliver figured out the crucial detail that Bill might have been pointing to. In the past, Bill told Darby that the serial killer they found was “the result of faulty programming,” which helped them reach 2 new suspects along with Andy.

Who killed Bill and the others?

The show points us towards Eva and Lu Mei being in cahoots with Andy for all the killings.

Deciphering Bill’s hint, the group reached the possibility that the hacker involved with the killings could be Lu Mei, the creator of smart cities. Another potential suspect brought up is Eva, who had access to Morphine and Rohan’s pacemaker receiver.

Then, Lee reveals that Eva is also in love with Andy, right before the latter shows up to Bill’s doorstep along with a beaten-up David at the end of the episode. But the answer to this “whodunnit” mystery may not be as easy as it seems because the killer could still be anyone apart from Darby.

Who was the Silver Doe killer and why did Bill leave Darby?

Darby and Bill tracked down the serial killer, who turned out to be a policeman named Frank Bell. Following that, Bill left Darby because she was obsessed with finding the killer and lost herself to it.

After finding out that Frank Bell was the one who killed 11 women across 7 states, Bill realized that in her obsession to catch the killer, Darby wasn’t able to process how close they came to dying. So, he left her to make her realize that she had already left him plenty of times before he finally went away.
