Starring Cha Eun-Woo and Park Gyu-Young, A Good Day To Be a Dog episode 9 was aired on Wednesday on MBC. The K-drama storyline revolves around Bo-Gyeom’s (Lee Hyun-Woo) connection with the lead characters.

In episode 8, viewers discover Bo-Gyeom is decades-old mountain god. He hides antique and mysterious items in a secluded basement at the school. Initially, he appeared to be a friend to Eun-Woo’s Jin Seo-Won and Gyu-Young’s Han Hae Na.

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 9 spoiler: Cha Eun-Woo, Park Gyu-Young share intimate moments

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 9 begins with Han Hae-Na (Park Gyu-Young) celebrating the end of her curse with her family. She confirms to her sister that she is officially dating Cha Eun-Woo’s Seo-Won.

The new couple doesn’t want the school to find out about them. However, they are in their honeymoon phase and find staying away from each other challenging. They secretly flirt, exchange love notes, and meet at secluded places, assuming no one will discover them. Unfortunately, a teacher and a student see them but fail to gather evidence to reveal their dating secret.

Hae-Na ends up at Seo-Won’s house after their dinner date. As they begin to share an intimate moment, Bo-Gyeom pays a visit. Hae-Na hides in Seo-Won’s nephew Yul’s room. Things get a bit out of hand when Yul also returns home. While Hae-Na hides in a cupboard, Seo-Won makes the two boys watch a boring film so they doze off. Once they go to sleep, the love birds share a passionate kiss.

Aside from the romance factor, A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 9 brings suspense to the storyline. The school faculty’s head turns out to be Bo-Gyeom, as in mountain god’s follower. The latter hands over a talisman to Hae-Na. Bo-Gyeom, on the other hand, gets nervous when a strange student named Min Ji-A (Kim Yi-Kyeong) finds out about his basement.

She faints after finding a piece of cloth and her picture on a wall that links to her past life. She eventually figures out that Bo-Gyeom knows the truth. Apparently, she was the woman he loved.

A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 9 ending: Lee Hyun-Woo draws sword against Cha Eun-Woo

The A Good Day To Be a Dog Episode 9 perfectly balances romance and mystery. The ending adds curiosity, making viewers wonder whether Bo-Gyeom wants to kill the lead characters.

In previous episodes, several flashback scenes featured Cha Eun-Woo‘s Seo-Won protecting Hae-Na from Ji-A in the past life. Bo-Gyeom was the one who cursed Hae-Na’s ancestor.

Episode 9 ended with Bo-Gyeom calling Seo-Won to his trailer. When the latter arrives, he sees his lost keychain (that Hae-Na gifted him) at Bo-Gyeom’s place. While he grabs the keychain, Lee Hyun-Woo’s character draws a sword against Seo-Won’s neck. The next scene is a flashback where Seo-Won draws a sword at Ji-A on the edge of a cliff while protecting Hae-Na. Does Bo-Gyeom want to hurt Seo-Won and Hae-Na for his lost love?
