How many Transformers movies are there?

There are seven Transformers movies. Starting with the first in 2007, Michael Bay directed five installments. These included Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon starring Shia LaBeouf. The fourth and fifth entries — Transformers: Age of Extinction and Transformers: The Last Knight — cast Mark Wahlberg in the main role.

Bumblebee was a spin-off starring Hailee Steinfeld, and the sixth film overall in the Transformers series. The new installment, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, is the seventh; it serves as a standalone sequel to Bumblebee. It takes place in 1994, before the events of the first Transformers film.

Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts arrives in theatres June 9, 2023.
