Kerry Condon Joins Cast of Apple Studios’ Brad Pitt-Led F1 Racing Movie

The Banshees of Inisherin star Kerry Condon is the latest star to join the cast of the upcoming Brad Pitt-led F1 racing movie from Apple Studios.

Deadline has reported that Condon has joined the project from Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. This will serve as one of her first major productions since she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2023 Academy Awards for her role as Siobhán Súilleabháin in The Banshees of Inisherin.

Who does Kerry Condon play in the F1 movie?

According to the outlet, Condon will play the Technical Director that “overseeing the design and development of the sophisticated race car.” On the other hand, Pitt will play the role of “a racer who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver and take his final stab at glory on the track as the younger driver’s teammate.”

The upcoming F1-focused movie currently has no title, but is set to be produced by Kosinski, seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton as part of his Dawn Apollo banner, and Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman for Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Penni Thow is set to executive produce.

Before The Banshees of Inisherin, Condon played roles like the office manager Pamela in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Molly Sullivan in the series Ray Donovan. One of her biggest roles is the voice of F.R.I.D.A.Y. — Tony Stark/Iron Man’s second A.I. companion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
