Gotham Knights DLC Officially Revealed, Is Out Now

WB Games Montréal has stayed mostly quiet on Gotham Knights since its messy October 2022 launch, only dropping a four-player co-op mode the following month alongside a few patches. But the studio is not done with the cooperative brawler, as it just revealed (and released) some more free Gotham Knights DLC.

The Gotham Knights Twitter account announced this update right as it went live. It is called The Kelvin Incident and is a 15-floor raid that unlocks during New Game Plus or when the player defeats all the villains in the side missions. It seems like it’s meant to be a tougher challenge, as enemies are “supercharged” and the mode contains a new higher tier of gear. There’s also a new suit transmog and four new Batcycle transmogs, but the team didn’t show or detail these cosmetics.

This DLC drop is sudden, but WB Games Montréal did hint that something was coming in a tweet from April 26 that had some villains from the game coupled with a vague caption.

Twitter user Batman Arkham Videos spotted this Gotham Knights DLC just before the official announcement, as the PC version of the game had been updated with six more achievements on the achievement-tracking site Exophase. These achievements are centered around Clayface, Harley Quinn, and Mr. Freeze, all of whom were in the base game.

The full patch notes aren’t filled with many more features and certainly don’t include the performance mode on consoles that players have been begging for. However, they do have button remapping and some changes to the text-to-speech functions.
