Shazam! Fury of the Gods Blu-ray Release Date & Special Features

After releasing last month in theaters, DC’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods will arrive digitally for fans to own in just a day, as Warner Bros. Discovery has set the digital and physical releases for the film.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods will be available for early premium digital ownership for $24.99 and 48-hour rental through premium video-on-demand services for $19.99 starting tomorrow, April 7, 2023. For those looking to own the film physically, the film will release on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 23, 2023, and will retail for $49.98, $39.98, and $34.98, respectively.

Both the digital and physical versions of the film will also come with a variety of bonus features, including a handful of making-of featurettes, as well as director’s audio commentary with David F. Sandberg and some deleted, alternate, or extended scenes.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods sees the return of Asher Angel and Zachary Levi as they reprise their respective roles as Billy Batson and Shazam. Joining them are returning cast members Jack Dylan Grazer and Adam Brody as Freddy, Faithe Herman and Meagan Good as Darla, Ian Chen and Ross Bulter as Eugene, Grace Fulton as Mary, Jovan Arman and D.J. Cotrona as Pedro, Marta Milans, Cooper Andrews, and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is directed by David F. Sandberg (Annabelle: Creation) from a screenplay written by Shazam! scribe Henry Gayden. It is produced by Peter Safran. The film is now available in theaters.
