What’s Leaving Hulu in November 2022

An appreciated dystopian story won’t be available on Hulu after the end of November.

2006’s Children Of Men is leaving the streaming service this month. The story follows humanity dealing with infertility and the assassination of the last child born on the planet in a while. Alfonso Cuarón’s adaptation of P. D. James’ 1992 novel of the same name piled up three Oscar nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. As much as critics appreciated the movie, Children Of Men didn’t pass the box-office test as it earned $70.5 million compared to its $76 million production budget. The cast features Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, Michael Caine, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Charlie Hunnam.

“In the year 2027, eighteen years since the last baby was born, disillusioned Theo (Owen) becomes an unlikely champion of the human race when he is asked by his former lover (Moore) to escort a young pregnant woman out of the country as quickly as possible,” reads the synopsis. “In this thrilling race against time, Theo will risk everything to deliver the miracle the whole world has been waiting for.”
