Mondo to Release Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack on Vinyl

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is set to release this week, and to celebrate the move, Mondo has partnered with Hollywood Records to release the official soundtrack to the game on vinyl.

For those looking to add to their Guardians of the Galaxy collection, the vinyl package will feature original illustrations by César Moreno and will be pressed on two colored vinyl discs, sporting a pink and green colorway.

Just like the Guardians of the Galaxy films have had a heavy focus on the world of eighties music, the soundtrack for the game does as well. Disc One of the vinyl will feature all of this in the form of fictional eighties heavy metal act Star-Lord Band, which is featured heavily in the game.

The second disc of the vinyl will feature selections from BAFTA and Ivor Novello nominated composer Richard Jacques, who also worked on soundtracks for Mass Effect and James Bond 007: Blood Stone. The full soundtrack for the upcoming game can be viewed below:

Those looking to pick up the vinyl can do so starting Wednesday, October 27, 2021. The vinyl will be available for $35 and has no set printing number, so pre-orders for it should remain open for at least some time.
