This Country is a half-hour mockumentary inspired by the BBC Three scripted format, originally created by Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper. The show follows the daily lives of cousins Kelly and Shrub Mallet, who are trailed by a documentary crew who go to a small town to study young adults and their current concerns in an idiosyncratic surrounding. The show follows the pair as they pursue their dreams, confront challenges and fight each other for frozen pizza.

Bicks will write and executive produce the project through her Perkins Street Productions banner. Feig will executive produce via his Feigco Entertainment company and direct. The Coopers will also executive produce along with Angie Stephenson. Feigco Entertainment’s Dan Magnante will serve as co-executive producer with Cathy Mathon and Rachel Mason serving as producers.

Scott was recently seen in the third season of Fox’s Lethal Weapon TV series, having stepped in when co-lead Clayne Crawford got the axe. He has also starred in films such as American Pie, Bloodline, Goon, Role Models and The Rundown.
