I Still Believe Trailer Reveals K.J. Apa as Singer Jeremy Camp

The first trailer for Lionsgate’s I Still Believe has K.J. Apa embracing his inner rock-star, and also his true love. You can check out the trailer, along with some first-look images, in the post below.

I Still Believe stars Apa (Archie from Riverdale) as Jeremy, a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter with more than 5 million albums sold. While Jeremy might be enjoying the limelight of pop stardom, the film will reportedly tell the story of his “journey of love and loss.”

Country star Shania Twain has signed on to portray Terry Camp, mother to Jeremy, while Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland) is set to star as Melissa Henning, Jeremy’s love interest, while Gary Sinise (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) will play Jeremy’s father, Tom. Additionally, Manifest‘s Melissa Roxburgh has signed on to star as Robertson’s older sister along with Nathan Dean Parsons (Roswell, New Mexico), who will play Jeremy and Melissa’s rockstar friend who mentors one while holding feelings for the other.

The film is produced by Jon and Andrew Erwin, who will also direct from a script by Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn. Kevin Downes will also produce.
