The Weinstein Company has just released the trailer for their upcoming action thriller No Escape (formerly The Coup), starring Owen Wilson (Inherent Vice, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb), Lake Bell (In a World…, Million Dollar Arm), and Pierce Brosnan (The November Man, How to Make Love Like an Englishman). No Escape centers on an American businessman (Wilson) as he and his family settle into their new home in Southeast Asia. Suddenly finding themselves in the middle of a violent political uprising, they must frantically look for a safe escape as rebels mercilessly attack the city.
No Escape is directed by John Erick Dowdle (Devil, As Above, So Below) and was written together with his brother, Drew Dowdle. Look for it to hit theaters on September 2.
