Starring Academy Award Winners Kevin Costner (Draft Day, Dances with Wolves) and Octavia Spencer (The Help, Snowpiercer), Black or White tells the story of a grandfather (Costner) who is suddenly left to care for his beloved granddaughter. When the little girl’s paternal grandmother (Spencer) seeks custody, a legal battle ensues that forces the families to confront their true feelings on race, forgiveness and understanding. Anchored by an all-star cast and based on real events, the movie is a look at two seemingly different worlds, in which nothing is as simple as black or white.
Black or White also stars Anthony Mackie (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Hurt Locker), Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty, The King’s Speech), Andre Holland (42, “The Knick”), Gillian Jacobs (“Community”, Life Partners), Bill Burr (Date Night) and Jillian Estell (So This is Christmas). Look for it to hit theaters beginning January 30, 2015.
