Though Matt Damon’s shaved head raised a lot of questions during his promotion of Contagion, little has come out from the actual set of Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium, now in production in Mexico City. That changes today as Reforma magazine has printed the below shots from the set, online courtesy of Movieland.
As you can see in the Los Angeles bus design, major parts of the film feature a decayed, futuristic version of the Californian City while the rest is said to be set on another planet and will feature many sociopolitical ideas wrapped up inside an action film.
Set for release on March 1, 2013, Elysium also stars Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura, Alice Braga and Diego Luna.
