Jesus is Back in First Look at John Turturro’s Going Places

Back in August, it was reported that John Turturro‘s remake of Going Places — a 1974 French film starring Gerard Depardieu, Jeanne Moreau and Isabelle Huppert — might actually be a Big Lebowski spin-off. Now the release of the first image has proven those rumors true as Jesus Quintana is back on the lanes and still pervy as ever! Check out the full photo in the gallery below!

John Turturro plays Jesus Quintana in Going Places, a film about a trio of misfits whose irreverent, sexually charged dynamic evolves into a surprising love story as their spontaneous and flippant attitude towards the past or future backfires time and again, even as they inadvertently perform good deeds. When they make enemies with a gun-toting hairdresser, their journey becomes one of constant escape from the law, from society and from the hairdresser, all while the bonds of their outsider family strengthen.

Turturro is writing and directing the dramatic comedy, which also stars Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou, Susan Sarandon and Sonia Braga.

Producers on Going Places are Sidney Kimmel, John Penotti, Robert Salerno, Fernando Sulichin, and Paul-Dominique Vacharasinthu. Bruce Toll, Max Arvelaiz and Michael Lewis are executive producers and financing the project is Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, New Element and Tribus P Film. Turturro acquired permission from Joel & Ethan Coen to reprise the character from 1998’s cult sensation The Big Lebowski.
