With the World Cup approaching quickly on June 11th, Warner Bros. has released a new international poster Sex and the City 2 that plays with the soccer theme. Technically, the sequel will have been playing for a week or longer already before the World Cup starts and the movie is of course targeting the female audience, so the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world will probably not affect the film’s box office take too much.
Written and directed by Michael Patrick King, Sex and the City 2 stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Jason Lewis, Mario Cantone and Willie Garson. It opens in North America on May 27.
