Screenwriter Kerry Williamson will write the script for the suspense thriller based on medical examiner Kay Scarpetta from the best-selling mystery series by author Patricia Cornwell. Angelina Jolie will star.
Williamson’s screenplay will draw from the world and characters Cornwell has created but not from any novel’s specific plot, says The Hollywood Reporter.
