Kerr Smith will star as Axle Palmer in Lionsgate’s My Bloody Valentine 3-D, alongside Jamie King and Jenson Ackles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Patrick Lussier is directing the remake of the 1981 slasher film about a murderer who kills those who celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Axle is the husband of Sarah (King) and nemesis of Tom (Ackles). A Jan. 23, 2009, release is planned.
