Peter Travis has been set by Warner Independent Pictures to direct Man Without a Gun, a fact-based drama.
Stuart Beattie (Collateral) wrote the script about the U.N. hostage negotiator who successfully brokered the release of long-held hostages from Lebanon-based terrorists in the late 1980s.
Jennifer Klein will produce through Apartment 3B, with Beattie. The plan is to get into production early next year.
