Freddie Prinze Jr. (“Scooby-Doo” films) and partner Conrad Jackson are producing crime thriller Manslaughter through their Hunga Rican Entertainment, along with IKM Productions, reports Variety.
Jackson (“Freddie”) is also writing and directing. James K. Jones and Patrick Moses will produce for IKM, and Prinze will executive produce.
Manslaughter follows five college students looking for fun in the Philippines. The students find themselves embroiled in a manslaughter they try to cover up, leaving them scrambling for their lives.
Production is expected to begin filming in May in Los Angeles. Prinze has a cameo role in the film.
