The Hollywood Reporter says that Jonny Weston (Chasing Mavericks) and Sofia Black-D’Elia (“Skins,” “Gossip Girl”) are in negotiations to star in Almanac, a time travel movie that is being produced by Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form.
Paramount Pictures will release the found footage project on February 21, 2014. It is said to have time travel at its core. Dean Israelite will direct the film, written by Andrew Stark and Jason Pagan.
The $12 million-project will shoot this summer in Atlanta.
