She thinks you’re going to love it
Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager) confirmed on her Twitter account that she will be reprising the role of Sonya in Warner Premiere’s Mortal Kombat digital series that has started filming in Vancouver.
She writes: Heading to the farmer’s market with the hubs & my girl. Then this evening I head to Vancouver to shoot Mortal Kombat! (NOW it’s official)
She added later that she had, “just finished reading the whole script for Mortal Kombat. Holy crap… I think u might just love it. Get ready…”
Ryan played Sonya in director Kevin Tancharoen’s short Mortal Kombat: Rebirth and Tancharoen is also directing the new series, which is expected to be available this spring.
