Mortal Kombat 2 Producer Teases ‘Something Special,’ Talks Trailer Release

Mortal Kombat 2 producer Todd Garner says fans are in for “something special” when it comes to the upcoming sequel.

In a video shared on Twitter, Garner announced that Mortal Kombat 2 had officially wrapped filming. Calling the production an “incredible journey” and also commented on when a trailer might come out, noting that it will probably take “a while” because of all the work that needs to be done in post-production.

“That’s a wrap for me on Mortal Kombat,” Garner said. “This has been an incredible, incredible journey. I can’t wait for y’all to see what we’ve done. It’s going to be a while, we have a lot of work to do. I know I’m going to start getting a lot of messages like, ‘When is the trailer? When is the trailer?’ It’s going to be a while. We’re going to work hard, we’re going to get it done. I think we’ve made something special. I hope you guys agree.”
