Plot Summary: Walt Disney Pictures' magical animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" returns to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™, introducing a whole new generation to the Disney classic with stunning new 3D imagery. Opening Feb. 12, 2010, the film captures the fantastic journey of Belle (voice of Paige O'Hara), a bright and beautiful young woman who's taken prisoner by a hideous beast (voice of Robby Benson) in his castle. Despite her precarious situation, Belle befriends the castle's enchanted staff—a teapot, a candelabra and a mantel clock, among others—and ultimately learns to see beneath the Beast's exterior to discover the heart and soul of a prince. Featuring unforgettable music by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, and an enormously talented vocal ensemble, "Beauty and the Beast" was the first—and only—animated feature to receive a Best Picture nomination from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

I think this will be great. I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D and they did a great job. I love how they never take the lame cheap way out with the Red and Blue glasses, but go all the way with great quality. Beauty and The Beast was such an amazing movie, and I'm excited to see it in 3-D

I'm excited to see this in 3d! I hope it does well enough for Disney to re-release a classic animated movie every year or two. Would love to see The Little Mermaid in 3d.

Wow Disney cannot even come up with a descent idea anymore that they need to go and do this. F**King sick of all the 3-D B.S. that's been coming, and now they wanna get their hands invovled with it. Lame

I WENT TO THE DISNEY EXPO AND SAW A 20-30 MINUTE SCENE OF THE MOVIE IN 3D AND ITS REALLY VERY AMAZING ... I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE WHOLE THING!!!
