How about just doing an origin film for the X-Men themselves? In other words, a movie which shows how the movie universe X-Men came together. There doesn’t need to be a lot of X-Men, just Cyclops, Jean, Storm, and a fur-less Beast. It would tell how Prof. X founded his school, how he “enrolled” his first four students, and their first battle against Magneto and his brotherhood. Magneto’s brotherhood would consist of Mystique, Toad, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver, and the latter two would be unsure of their loyalty to Magneto’s cause. If done right, that would definitely make for an interesting movie. Naturally, younger actors would have to be brought in to play the roles of the X-Men, though I think Stewart & McKellen could still play the Prof and Magneto. They could use the same de-aging effects used in X3.

That would be my suggestion. I'm not sure I care for a Generation X-type movie. If they do it properly and make it interesting without screwing it up (pfft), then go for it. I'm just not crazy about the idea at the moment; would need to hear more of what they have planned and see it in action. Regardless of whatever X-Men movies end up being developed, keep Brett Ratner away from them. The last thing anyone wants is another X3. Seriously. :/

i love PSYLOCKE! I want to see her as a telepathic purple-haired japanese ninja. since jean grey "died" in the last movie, she can have telekinetic powers in this new movie as well. but i hope her shadow-merging powers will retain and that she can have the opportunity to use her psionic sword this time. please include psylocke!

Any X-Men movie will likely be a good one but I do have a problem with what was said in the description. They will be using younger characters and then they go and list Angel and Ice-Men. They were 2 of the original 4 X-Men not some one the newbies. True they haven't played a major role in the previous movies but they aren't some of the younger teenage X-Men.
