Ronda Rousey Sets Conditions for WWE Return

Former WWE superstar Ronda Rousey has established a condition for her comeback to the promotion. Her last match in WWE ended in a loss against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam last year. Since then, she has been seen attending various independent wrestling events towards the end of 2023.

Ronda Rousey’s first WWE run extended from Royal Rumble 2018 to WrestleMania 35, while her second run began at Royal Rumble 2022 and concluded at SummerSlam 2023. However, following her departure from WWE, she expressed dissatisfaction with her experience working for the promotion. In various interviews promoting her upcoming book “Our Fight,” Rousey discussed her experiences in WWE.

During an interview on Good Morning America, Ronda Rousey reflected on her decision to leave WWE. She expressed, “It’s just not a lifestyle I can continue while being a mom. I was on the road 18 months with my baby and that was nothing we could sustain forever.”

Regarding a potential return to WWE, Rousey expressed skepticism, stating that she would only consider it if there were significant changes in how things are managed. She stated, “Not unless things drastically change with how things are run there. I highly doubt it.”

Ronda Rousey not surprised by allegations against Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon has resigned from WWE amid serious allegations made in a lawsuit against him by a former WWE employee, accusing him of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault. Following McMahon’s decision to step away, many WWE superstars have been asked about the situation.

While speaking to NewsNation, Ronda Rousey discussed the allegations against Vince McMahon, noting that she is not surprised by the lawsuit. She stated, “It’s not surprising. I can tell you the reason why nobody else is speaking out is because they know that there will be negative repercussions if they say anything about the company that the company doesn’t like. Everybody is being held hostage by their careers, but since I don’t plan on going back there unless they make some very major changes, I feel free to say whatever I want to say, which I’ve always felt that way. I don’t really care if they have me back or not. I can wrestle wherever I want to wrestle and the truth should be told.”

Recently, CM Punk and Becky Lynch also shared their opinions on Vince McMahon’s resignation and the allegations against him.
