CM Punk’s Next Potential Feud Revealed

CM Punk’s highly anticipated return to WWE has sparked a whirlwind of emotions and reactions among fans and fellow wrestlers. Punk’s return at Survivor Series: WarGames in Chicago has generated mixed reactions from fellow stars. While Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Braun Strowman, R-Truth, and Kofi Kingston have welcomed him warmly, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre seem less enthused about Punk’s comeback.

Punk had already made his in-ring return at WWE live events, facing Dominik Mysterio. Before the showdown, Mysterio didn’t hold back on X (formerly Twitter). He took jabs at Punk and added an extra layer of anticipation and tension to their impending encounter. But it looks like the real fireworks might be reserved for the showdown with Drew McIntyre.

Interestingly, tension escalated on the latest edition of WWE RAW when Drew McIntyre had some harsh words about Punk’s status in WWE. The situation further intensified when Punk interrupted McIntyre and came face to face with the Scottish warrior.

It appears that the groundwork for a compelling feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is being laid. This promises an intense and captivating storyline in the lead-up to the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk comes face to face with Drew McIntyre on WWE RAW

Drew McIntyre kicked off the latest WWE RAW, expressing frustration about Damian Priest’s interference last week in his match against Seth Rollins. Furthermore, he had some harsh words about Punk’s status in WWE. He taunted that he should leave WWE, just like Punk, for years to return to a hero’s welcome.

CM Punk interrupted, calling out McIntyre for being all talk since his comeback. A verbal exchange followed, during which Punk gave McIntyre an opportunity to respond. Reminiscing about their travel stories, McIntyre playfully referred to Punk as a “demon.” He then teased Punk, for once claiming to be a locker room leader, boldly declaring that he has now taken on the role of being Punk’s locker room leader.

Punk countered McIntyre’s remarks about him being a demon by asserting that he can transform into Satan when pushed to the limit. Shortly after, Punk emphasized once again that he is not here to make friends; his primary goal is to win the Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania.

The heated segment ended with Punk declaring his intention to eliminate McIntyre last in the Rumble.
