Julia Louis Dreyfuss is Back in the Veep Season Four Trailer

The new trailer for the upcoming fourth season of HBO’s hit comedy “Veep” has arrived! Check it out in the player below. There’s also a new poster for the series, which you can check out at the bottom of this page.

Former senator Selina Meyer was a rising star in her party, a charismatic leader with White House potential. Then she became Vice President. Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars in Veep, a new HBO comedy series created by Armando Iannucci that follows the whirlwind day-to-day existence of the Vice President as she puts out political fires, juggles a busy public schedule and demanding private life, and defends the president’s interests, even as she tries to improve her dysfunctional relationship with the chief executive.

Of course, that was all before the events of last season, which ended with the President stepping down, leaving Meyer to replace him while in the middle of her own Presidential campaign.

Created by Armando Iannucci and set in the same fictional universe as his “The Thick of It,” “Veep” has received quite a few awards, including three consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards for Dreyfus.

“Veep” also stars Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, Matt Walsh, Reid Scott, Timothy C. Simons and Sufe Bradshaw. Catch the series’ premiere Sunday, April 12 at 10:30pm ET/PT, following the season premieres of both “Game of Thrones” and “Silicon Valley.”
