Diarra From Detroit Season 2 Trailer Takes Viewers on an Indiana Jones-Style Quest

Diarra From Detroit Season 2 trailer is out setting things a lot wilder this time. Created, written, executive-produced, and led by Diarra Kilpatrick, the series originally premiered on BET+ before moving to Paramount+ following the streamer’s closure in June.

The official synopsis of the new season reads, “This summer, Diarra is determined to leave the chaos behind and finally enjoy a little peace. Instead, a routine furniture recovery mission lands her in the middle of a grisly new crime, setting off another wildly unpredictable adventure through Detroit’s criminal underworld. As the mystery deepens, she’ll go undercover with a secret society, chase buried treasure, and navigate a love life that’s every bit as complicated as the case itself.”

What do we see in the Diarra From Detroit Season 2 trailer?

The Diarra From Detroit Season 2 trailer previews a new investigation that begins after a furniture-recovery mission links Diarra to a violent crime. As she searches for answers, the hunt draws her deeper into Detroit’s criminal world, leading her to an undercover operation involving a secret society and an Indiana Jones-esque quest for a buried treasure. Complications in her personal life add another layer to her problems as Diarra tries to understand the crime and the people behind it.

Kilpatrick returns for the second installment with series regulars DomiNque Perry, Bryan Terrell Clark, and Jon Chaffin, alongside Shannon Wallace, Phylicia Rashad, and Harry Lennix. Diarra From Detroit Season 2 will feature an all-star lineup of guests that includes Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Morris Chestnut, Glynn Turman, Bokeem Woodbine, Amber Riley, Lil Rel Howery, Lovie Simone, Shoniqua Shandai, Nicco Annan, Skilla Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Chris “CP” Powell, and Jude Demorest.

The first two episodes of the upcoming season drop on Paramount+ on July 29, 2026. This will be followed by one new episode every Wednesday till September 9, 2026.
