Suicide Squad Isekai Trailer: King Shark Goes on a Rampage in Another Realm

Warner Bros. Animation has dropped a brand new Suicide Squad Isekai trailer for its newest anime series, which gives highlight to King Shark and his uncontrollable appetite.

“DC’s Harley Quinn, the Joker, and The Suicide Squad rampage onto the stage of Isekai in the new original anime series from Warner Bros. Japan and Wit Studio, Suicide Squad Isekai,” reads the series’ logline. “The most maddening worlds collide in an epic and violent fantasy with the strongest line-up of anime creators!”

What happens in the Suicide Squad Isekai trailer?

The Suicide Squad Isekai trailer gives the spotlight to fan-favorite DC character King Shark’s upcoming anime debut. The video highlights his killing rampage, as well as the character’s hilarious antics. The series is scheduled to make its debut on June 27, with the first three episodes on Max and Hulu. This will then be followed by new episodes released weekly.

Suicide Squad Isekai is directed by Eri Osada from a screenplay written by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara. The anime features DC villains, including Harley Quin, Joker, Peacemaker, Deadshot, Clayface, and King Shark, who will be voiced by Anna Nagase, Yuichiro Umehara, Takehito Koyasu, Reigo Yamaguchi, Jun Fukuyaman, and Subaru Kimura, respectively. The series’ music is by Kenichiro Suehiro, with character design by Naoto Hosoda. The animation is handled by Wit Studio with Warner Bros. Japan producing.
