Echo Video Reminds Disney+ Subscribers to Change Settings to Watch MCU Series

Ahead of the long-awaited series debut of Echo, Marvel Studios has dropped a brand new Echo video for the upcoming limited drama.

The video continues to hype up the show’s violent action-packed sequences as the studio reminds Disney+ subscribers to set their profile to TV-MA to stream Echo. All five episodes will be available for streaming starting on January 9, 2024 on Disney+ and Hulu.

What to expect in Echo?

“The miniseries spotlights Maya Lopez as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire,” reads the new synopsis. “When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy. All five episodes will stream on Jan. 10 on both platforms. They’ll be available on Hulu until April 9. This marks the first Marvel Studios series to drop all entirely bingeable episodes at once.”

Echo hails from head writer Marion Dayre. It will feature the return of Alaqua Cox as she reprises her role as Maya Lopez after debuting in the Hawkeye series, where the character’s long history with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin was revealed. The series will also feature Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Zahn McClarnon, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, and Graham Greene.

In Marvel Comics, Echo — the adoptive daughter of the Kingpin — is a deaf Native American woman who possesses the ability to perfectly copy other people’s movements while also being a highly capable martial artist and acrobat.
