The Wilds Season 2 Trailer: The Girls Discover Another Group of Survivors

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of the coming-of-age survival drama The Wilds. The series is currently is scheduled to make its return on Friday, May 6.

The Wilds Season 2 trailer, which you can check out below along with the key art, highlights the introduction of another island of survivors comprised of eight teenage boys. It teases how this revelation would affect the main characters’ own survival as they continue to struggle to live.

“In Season 2, survival hangs in the balance for the group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, after the explosive discovery that what’s happening to them is an elaborate social experiment,” reads the logline. “This season ups the drama and keeps you guessing, with the introduction of more test subjects—another island of teenage boys—who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master. ”

The Wilds centers around a group of teen girls from different backgrounds, who must fight for survival after a plane crash strands them on a deserted island. There’s just one twist to this thrilling drama… these girls did not end up on this island by accident.

The series stars Sarah Pidgeon (Gotham) as Leah Rilke, Mia Healey as Shelby Goodkind, Jenna Clause (Cold Brook) as Martha Blackburn, Erana James (Golden Boy) as Toni Shalifoe, Reign Edwards (Snowfall, MacGyver) as Rachel Reid, Helena Howard (Don’t Look Deeper) as Nora Reid, Shannon Berry (Offspring) as Dot Campbell and Sophia Ali (Grey’s Anatomy) as Fatin Jadmani.

The Wilds is created and executive produced by Sarah Streicher (Daredevil). It is co-produced by Amazon Studios and ABC Signature Studios with Streicher’s overall deal at ABC Studios. Amy B. Harris (Sex and the City) acts as executive producer and showrunner for the series, along with Streicher, the late Jamie Tarses’ Fanfare and Dylan Clark, Brian Williams of Dylan Clark Productions, and Susanna Fogel who directed and executive produced the pilot.
