Crossing Swords Season 2 Trailer Sets Return Date For Hulu Comedy

Hulu has released the full Crossing Swords Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of the adult-animated stop-motion comedy, featuring a voice cast led by Nicholas Hoult and Luke Evans. The series is scheduled to make its return on December 10, 2021, with 10 new episodes.

The video teases the next adventures of Hoult’s Patrick as he tries to save the kingdom again from intruders, while also leading the search for treasures that will prevent the kingdom from getting conquered.

Crossing Swords hails from creators John Harvatine IV and Tom Root. It features the voices of Nicholas Hoult, Luke Evans, Alanna Ubach, Tara Strong, Tony Hale, Adam Ray, Maya Erskine, Adam Pally, Seth Green, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Breckin Meyer, Jameela Jamil, and more.

“Season 2 will tell next chapter in the adventures of Patrick the long-suffering squire as he climbs the ladder of knighthood in the service of the volatile King Merriman,” reads the synopsis. “There are new friends to make, new enemies to vanquish, and new horrors to scar Patrick for life; including bloodthirsty leprechauns, an island of killer monkeys, and a shadowy villain who could destroy everything Patrick has ever known!”

It is also being executive produced by Harvatine and Root, who are known for their work on the long-running stop-motion sketch comedy series Robot Chicken. The series is a production by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.
