Fairfax Trailer Previews Amazon’s Adult Animated Comedy Series

Amazon Prime Video has released the official Fairfax trailer for the upcoming adult animated comedy series, featuring the voices of Kiersey Clemons, Jaboukie Young-White, and more. The video, which you can check out below, highlights a coming-of-age comedy about four middle schoolers as they deal with Gen-Z problems that came with their never-ending quest for clout. The 8-episode series will be available for streaming on October 29.

Fairfax is created and executive produced by longtime friends Matthew Hausfater, Aaron Buchsbaum, and Teddy Riley. The voice cast is being led by Skyler Gisondo, Kiersey Clemons, Peter S. Kim, and Jaboukie Young-White.

“It centers around four middle school best friends on their never-ending quest for clout on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles – the pulsing heart of hypebeast culture,” reads the official synopsis. “Fairfax is about the timeless struggle to be cooler than you are and fit in while standing out, and what it feels like to wait in line for a pair of sneakers you’re never going to cop.”

The series will also feature the voices of guest stars including Pamela Adlon, Jeff Bottoms, Yvette Nicole Brown, Rob Delaney, Zoey Deutch, Colton Dunn, John Leguizamo, Camila Mendes, Larry Owens, Linda Park, Billy Porter, Ben Schwartz, Tim Simons, and JB Smoove, among others.

Fairfax is executive produced by Jon Zimelis and Jason U. Nadler for Serious Business; Peter A. Knight (Bojack Horseman); and Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina, and Antonio Canobbio for Titmouse (Big Mouth). The artist Somehoodlum, who designed the characters for the series, serves as a consulting producer alongside the pop/internet culture clothing and media brand Pizzaslime.
