Loki features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. It centers around the fan-favorite villain as he gets arrested by the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space,  due to the damage he had done with the timeline. Now, he must willingly work with the TVA in order to fix the reality he broke or else face deletion from existence.

Joining Hiddleston are franchise newcomers Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Sasha Lane, Cailey Fleming, and Richard E. Grant. Hiddleston has been playing the character since 2011 in Thor, followed by appearances in five more MCU films.

Kate Herron is executive producing and directing Loki from a screenplay coming from head writer Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty). Waldron is also the scribe for Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which Loki will reportedly have ties into just like with WandaVision and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The three episodes are now available for streaming on Disney+, with new episodes streaming every Wednesday through July 14.
