Stranger Things Season 4 News Teased by Mysterious Video

The excitement around the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things continues to grow, and today, a new teaser hinted at even more news releasing regarding the show tomorrow. 

Earlier Wednesday on the Stranger Things YouTube channel, a brief video titled “HNL Control Room” was uploaded. The video is overlaid with a piano score and shows seven television screens, each cutting between static and a brief shot of an image. The description for the video reads: “Due to technical difficulties, Hawkins National Laboratory will be closed until further notice. We will be back in service tomorrow at 9:00AM ET.”

Thanks to the description, many fans are expecting something to happen tomorrow at 9 a.m. ET. The writers of Stranger Things didn’t do much to dissuade fans from thinking that, as they tweeted out a cryptic “Are you ready?” message shortly after the video released.

Not too much is known about the upcoming fourth season of the hit Netflix series, but we know that those involved are hopeful of it being out sometime in 2022. After releasing Season 3 in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the show’s production to go into a delay, but the cast and crew have since begun filming once again. 

Stranger Things Season 4 is also set to see prior cast members return, such as Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max, Maya Thurman-Hawke as Robin, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman and Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair.

As far as new faces go, Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street), Jamie Campbell Bower (Sweeney Todd), Eduardo Franco (Booksmart), and Joseph Quinn (Catherine the Great) will be regulars next season. Meanwhile, Sherman Augustus (Into the Badlands), Mason Dye (Bosch), Nikola Djuricko (Legends), and Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones) will be recurring characters.
