It’s John Walker vs. Falcon & The Winter Soldier in the new mid-season trailer.

Following the last episode’s horrifying finale, Marvel Studios has released the mid-season sneak peek trailer for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, featuring new footage from the remaining two episodes. The video explores the complicated legacy of the shield and what lies ahead for Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, John Walker and the Flag Smashers. It also teases Sam and Bucky’s impending fight against John Walker as the duo tries to restore the Captain America shield’s legacy. Check out the video in the player below!

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

Starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picks up from the events in which Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, was gifted the iconic vibranium shield from Steve Rogers in order to take up the mantle of Captain America while Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, retains his moniker but uses it for heroism instead. Despite this, Sam seeks to forge his own path and retire the Cap moniker to properly honor Steve’s legacy while Bucky undergoes therapeutic treatment to correct the wrongs of his past, but when a new threat to the world emerges and the US decides to elect a new Cap with more questionable morals, the titular duo must team up on a global adventure that will test their abilities — and their patience.

They are joined by MCU veterans Daniel Bruhl, Emily VanCamp and Don Cheadle, who are reprising their roles as Helmut Zemo, Sharon Carter, and James Rhodes aka War Machine respectively. Bruhl and VanCamp’s characters were last seen in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Wyatt Russell is also starring in the series as John Walker along with fellow MCU newcomers Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Erin Kellyman as Karli Morgenthau, Adepero Oduye as Sarah Wilson, Miki Ishikawa, Desmond Chiam, Carl Lumbly, and Noah Mills.
