Dragon’s Dogma Trailer Previews Netflix’s Newest Anime Series

Netflix has released the official trailer for their upcoming and newest original anime series titled Dragon’s Dogma, which is based on Capcom’s critically-acclaimed RPG video game of the same name. The series adaptation will be available for streaming on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Check out the video in the player below!

In Dragon’s Dogma, after losing his home to a dragon, Ethan sets out to hunt it down once and for all. A pawn appears by his side and serves to protect his life. But the dangers that lie in wait for Ethan are beyond their imaginations, for when you fight a monster… you just may become one too.

The anime series is directed by Shin’ya Sugai from a screenplay written by Kurasumi Sunayama. It is produced by Shin’ya Sugai, Takashi Kitahara, and Hiroyuki Kobayashi with Taiki Sakurai serving as an executive producer. It is a production by Sublimation.

Dragon’s Dogma was one of the new anime content that Netflix had announced last year. In addition to Dragon’s Dogma, the streamer is also producing anime shows titled: Altered Carbon: Resleeved, SPRIGGAN, Vampire in the Garden and Super Crooks.
