The third season will be shorter than the previous seasons of the series, with eight episodes instead of the usual 10. However, it is still unclear if the new episodes will have a longer run time in order to make up for the season’s shorter episode count.

A dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new form of life on Earth, the Emmy-winning Westworld was created for television by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, who are also executive producers with J.J. Abrams, Richard J. Lewis, Roberto Patino, Athena Wickham, and Ben Stephenson.
