Crazy Ex-Girfriend Ending After Season 4

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Ending After Season 4

After The CW renewed 10 series earlier today, including the comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, star and co-creator Rachel Bloom took to Twitter to confirm that season four would be the final season of the show. In the tweet, Bloom said: “Just turned on my wifi on our flight to Chicago and found out that #CrazyExGirlfriend has been renewed for a final season.”

In a follow-up tweet, Bloom added: “The odds of selling a tv show pitch are small. The odds of getting a pilot show are even smaller. The odds of getting that show ordered to series are even smaller. The odds of getting past season one are even smaller. Because of @TheCW, #CrazyExGirlfriend beat the odds.”

The CW has not confirmed Crazy Ex-Girlfriend‘s endgame and many are looking towards the upfronts in May for a formal announcement on the final season. Fans of The 100, iZombie, Life Sentence and Valor may also hear more news closer to May about whether or not those series will be returning in the 2018-2019 season since they were not among the shows renewed in today’s big announcement from the network.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning comedy series that follows Rebecca Bunch (Bloom), a successful and driven woman who seemingly has it all — an upscale apartment in Manhattan and a partnership at a prestigious law firm — but she feels like something is missing. After a chance meeting with a former romantic interest, Rebecca impulsively decides to give up her life in New York and relocate to West Covina, California, a Los Angeles suburb she hopes will be the perfect home base as she embarks on a quest for love, adventure, and true happiness.
