Variety says that CBS has picked up J.J. Abrams pilot “Person of Interest,” a crime drama written by The Dark Knight screenwriter Jonathan Nolan.
The project, from Bad Robot and Warner Bros. TV, centers on a CIA paramilitary officer, presumed dead, who is recruited to work on a secret project for a reclusive billionaire.
Nolan, Abrams and Bad Robot’s Bryan Burk are executive producers.
