NBC’s St. Denis Medical & Reggie Dinkins Have a Return Date Twist

NBC has pulled a scheduling surprise for fans of St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins. It comes as part of the network’s recent announcement of the 2026 Fall releases list.

Here are all the details.

St. Denis Medical and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins return to NBC on the same date

Both series will release on Monday, November 2, 2026, with St. Denis Medical opening the night at 8 p.m. and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins following at 8:30 p.m. The back-to-back scheduling turns NBC’s Monday into a dedicated block of workplace chaos — one set in an Oregon emergency department, the other trailing a scandal-plagued footballer chasing redemption.

St. Denis Medical enters its third season with serious momentum. The hospital mockumentary climbed from a 79% Rotten Tomatoes score in its debut year to 90% in Season 2. Its IMDb score is currently 7.2.

Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, David Alan Grier, and Kaliko Kauahi all return. Each season ran 18 episodes, giving the writers room to build storylines that stretch well beyond a typical network sitcom.

Directly after, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins is coming with Season 2. Tracy Morgan stars as the lead character, an ex-football player scrambling to rebuild his career with a documentary crew in tow. Erika Alexander plays Monica, his ex-wife and business manager.

Daniel Radcliffe featured as Arthur Tobin, the filmmaker capturing every misstep. The first season, a midseason entry in January 2026, ran ten episodes and featured cameos from Megan Thee Stallion, Craig Robinson, and Corbin Bernsen.

The show was very well-received by critics, recording a Rotten Tomatoes score of 97%. However, its audience score is slightly lower, coming in at 75%. Meanwhile, on IMDb, the show has a score of 6.9.
