Netflix and Tom Segura unveiled the return date for one of the streamer’s most boundary-pushing comedy series alongside a fresh batch of promotional images. The comedian and creator confirmed when audiences can expect the dark comedy’s six new episodes to arrive.
Bad Thoughts reveals Season 2 premiere date and first look photos
Netflix has set May 24 as the premiere date for Tom Segura’s Bad Thoughts Season 2, according to Deadline. The streaming platform also released first look photos from the six-episode dark comedy series. The show follows Segura as he navigates unthinkable situations and fantasies within a cinematic world.
Bad Thoughts uses a vignette structure where Segura explores provocative themes in a darkly comedic tone. Netflix describes the series as a “collection of hilariously disturbing stories that push boundaries of decency in ways only Tom Segura could imagine.” Segura created, directed, and executive produced the series through YMH Studios.
Ryan P. Hall, Molly Mandel, Jeremy Konner, Craig Gerard, and Matthew Zinman also serve as executive producers on the show. The first season featured actors including Daniella Pineda, Robert Iler, Arturo Castro, Shea Whigham, Bobby Lee, Dan Stevens, and Christina Pazsitsky. Kristen Kendall, Alexandra Broussard, Billie D. Merritt, Sarah Burns, and Malin Barr also appeared in Season 1.
Bad Thoughts Season 1 premiered on Netflix on May 13, 2025, with all six episodes dropping simultaneously. The streamer renewed the series for a second season in June of that year. Segura expressed enthusiasm about the renewal at the time.
“It was such a thrill to get the opportunity to entertain and horrify audiences with our very Bad Thoughts on Netflix,” Segura said. “We’re all so excited to push things further with season 2. I promise your family will not approve of what we do.” The Netflix Is A Joke account on X shared the premiere date alongside new promotional images featuring Segura.
