Harley Quinn’s Kaley Cuoco Gives Huge Season 6 Status Update

Kaley Cuoco gives the latest Harley Quinn Season 6 update

Kaley Cuoco, star and executive producer of Harley Quinn, confirmed in an interview with ScreenRant that Season 6 of the animated series has not yet been officially greenlit.

“We’re hoping to do it. I haven’t gotten it confirmed yet. We are really hoping to do it,” Cuoco stated while promoting her thriller series Vanished. She emphasized the show’s loyal fanbase, saying, “There is a core fan base for this show, and people love it.”

It seems they are still thinking of making it, and if production moves forward, the season would likely release in 2027 at the earliest.

Cuoco reflected on the beginning of the series, recalling, “I’ll never forget when they gave me the first episode… I was like, ‘Are we allowed to talk like this?’ It was so racy and so insane.” She called the experience “a total joy,” and added, “If we can get six done — I know that everyone wants to do it — if we can get that done, we are going to do it. That is a huge goal.”

The show’s renewal depends on developments at DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, as well as broader streaming platform decisions. The series originally launched on DC Universe and later moved to HBO Max, outlasting other DC titles. Season 5 followed Harley and Ivy in Metropolis as they faced threats from Lex and Lena Luthor.

Parents often approach Cuoco, mistakenly believing the show is for children. She tells them, “Your kid cannot watch this show!” and insists that viewers “need to be over 18 years old.” Regarding DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran, Cuoco stated, “They seem amazing… they love the show.”

Asked about joining the live-action DC Universe, Cuoco responded, “Absolutely,” adding that DC “sounds like it’s a lovely group of people who love their actors,” with a strong emphasis on “respect” and “keeping it classic and authentic.”
