A widely followed post-apocalyptic series is set to return soon, with Hulu unveiling new footage and a premiere date for its second season. Cast and creators hinted at major shifts and familiar characters as anticipation builds.
Paradise Season 2 begins streaming on Hulu in February
Hulu will begin streaming Paradise Season 2 on Monday, February 23, 2026, with a three-episode premiere. The show’s panel at CCXP in Brazil announced the release date and confirmed that new episodes will follow weekly. Hulu also released the first Season 2 footage, which highlights returning characters and introduces new revelations.
According to the official Season 2 synopsis, “Xavier searches for Teri out in the world and learns how people survived the three years since The Day. Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1, and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins.”
In the teaser trailer, Air Force One crash-lands in a tree, and Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) lies injured. The footage shows glimpses of surface survivors, including one who might be Xavier’s wife, Teri. It also confirms the return of Julianne Nicholson as Sinatra, Sarah Shahi as Dr. Gabriela Torabi, and Nicole Brydon Bloom as Jane.
James Marsden (President Cal Bradford) and Jon Beavers (Billy Pace) return as recurring guest stars, despite their characters’ deaths in Season 1. Flashbacks likely explain their reappearances. New cast member Shailene Woodley appears in the teaser trailer. She may portray a scientist investigating the climate crisis behind the collapse.
Additional returning cast members include Krys Marshall, Enuka Okuma, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV, and Charlie Evans. New actors joining the cast are Thomas Doherty, Timothy Omundson, and Michael McGrady in unspecified roles. In the trailer, Sinatra says, “Can I tell you a secret, something no one else knows? It was never just about the bunker.” The quote highlights the expanded scope of Season 2’s narrative beyond the original setting.
