Millie Bobby Brown Reveals She’s a Mother in Surprise Statement

Millie Bobby Brown recently took to social media to make the surprise announcement that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, have adopted a child.

What did Millie Bobby Brown say about her adoption?

In a recent post on Instagram, Brown made the short but surprising announcement that she and her husband welcomed a “sweet baby girl” into their family via adoption. The couple didn’t say much else other than that they were “beyond excited” to embark on parenthood together, and said they would be doing so “in peace and privacy.”

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Brown wrote. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, the 23-year-old son of legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi, began dating in 2021 and became engaged two years later. In 2024, the couple wed in a private ceremony.

Brown catapulted into superstardom for her starring role as Eleven in Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things, which she first appeared in when she was just 12 years old. Since then, she’s appeared in every season of the series and has also starred in the Enola Holmes franchise of films for Netflix. A third film is currently in the works.
